The theme for this year’s Arts Activated Conference in Sydney is ‘Desire and Destination’. I have been invited by Accessible Arts NSW to attend the conference as one of the facilitators of the 2-day program where I will introduce panels of speakers throughout the conference, provide audio description of dance performances to visually impaired and blind audiences and provide other access support. I will also act as a kind of ‘delegate liaison’ making smooth and effortless introductions to one another and provide general support to the conference convener, Amanda Tink.
