Laure Bachelot

Laure Bachelot

In Laure’s class we listen, we experience, we notice, we move through developmental patterns (principles of Bartenieff Fundamentals) to find inner connectivity combined  with outer expressivity. Once we are ready, we become connected to ourselves, the environment and people around us, exploring deeper into these patterns and using improvisation we can then identify characters, emotions and states of mind. Playing in a theatrical and physical world.

It wasn’t planned! I had other commitments scheduled but sometimes life brings changes and offers beautiful alternatives. I am exciting because this is the exact reason why I applied to the Artists’ International Development Fund, to immerse myself with Australian artists, to be inspired and to share practice. What a better opportunity than to have at The Corner Dance Lab. Laure Bachelot
