Phil Blackman

The Corner Dance Lab comes into it’s third year in 2016.

Phil’s workshops will explore intimate aspects of self with the intention of drawing out expressive and authentic physicality for choreographic development. The work will focus on non-censorship and catching impulses using improvisation techniques and moving meditation practices.

Participants will work in solo, duet and group arrangements.

I am fortunate to have been invited back once again to teach and be a part of this amazing line up of artists and participants for from all over the country and world. My practice is so often a solo one with the exception of teaching. To be in a room with 20 – 30 other dancers every day is purely sublime. I am looking forward to this one!
