The P(im)P Project

The P(im)P Project Workshop

The Creative Director of Dance Integrated Australia, Philip Channells developed The P(im)P Project workshops structured around the devising process of PERFECT (im)PERFECTIONS – stories untold which is a new intergenerational, dance theatre work he created with people with different physicalities. The work was commissioned by DansiT – Senter for Dansekunst i Sør-Trøndelag for the Multiplié Dansefestival (2014) in Trondheim, Norway.

The P(im)P Project has been presented at the New Works Forum : Challenging Perspectives of Physicality and Bodies at the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority (WKCDA) in Hong Kong. This workshop series focused on:

  • the universality in engaging and collaborating with people with different life experience

  • new works and community (social groups) and

  • body and different life experiences (performers and non-performers)

Half-day, full-days or week-long workshops are possible according to our availability meeting your organisation’s needs. We are happy to discuss this project in more detail with you to discover ways we can customise The P(im)P Project.
