The Corner Dance Lab does not focus on ability but on growth; and because of its inclusive nature, it allows all the participants to attempt, challenge and explore new concepts.  While prior training can be brought into the workshops, their alternate approach to movement raises awareness of a different, if not deeper approach to dance; questioning the fundamentals behind movement, the relation of body and mind, combined with heightening of kinesthetic awareness. It is this freedom and alternate approach that allowed me to develop the other facets of my dancing; physical, social and  ideological, that cannot be found in a technical training institution.  The experience gained during this workshop will be used in my future practice. Samuel Yun Koh (AC Arts 3rd year student)
