Second Skin is a new work I will be creating for Accessible Arts NSW and wraps up the Catalyst Dance Masterclass Series held throughout 2012 at the Carriageworks in Sydney.

More than 40 dancers (with and without a disability) will participate in this 2-day event which will culminate in a studio showing the work from both the first and second series of the masterclasses led by Sue Healey & Kiruna Stamell and Dean Walsh & Helen Clarke Lapin.

Second Skin is a culmination of movement developed over the Catalyst series, which investigated concepts of adaption and interpretation. The studio showing will invite the audience into a diverse physical environment where they will witness more than than 40 dancers shed their layers and expose what’s underneath their skin.
