Coming to Byron Bay’s Scout Hall from Tuesday 14 – Friday 24 November 2017 is Dance Integrated Australia’s multi art-form project, ‘Raconteurs’.
Led by Creative Director Philip Channells, the ‘Raconteurs’ project is a series of immersive skills development workshops spanning across art-forms including: writing for the theatre, dance, movement, street performance and choreography, story telling & journeying, sound design & Djing and interdisciplinary practice.
This inaugural project supports anyone of all background, ability and life experience interested in self expression to deepen their understanding of creative practice, connect with like minded people and seed new collaborations.
As part of The Corner Residency Program initiated by Dance Integrated Australia in 2014 and based in the NSW Northern Rivers region, the ‘Raconteurs’ project promotes a model of engagement in the arts that sustains growth in the creative sectors, nourishes diverse artistic practice and builds industry collegiality within our community.
