‘Its All About Me’ (solo series) is a collection of short dance works developed through intensive creative investigations which are realised through The Corner Residency Program.

The Corner Residency Program is a new initiative of Dance Integrated Australia (DIA) which supports the various stages of development of new independent work. The program is open to individuals or groups interested to develop their work at Jasper Corner, which is situated in the historic town of Federal just 30 minutes inland from Byron Bay on the NSW North Coast.

The work of individual artists will be considered for ‘Its All About Me’ (solo series) and groups are encouraged to present their work in development at an open studio showing at the end of their residency. Expressions of Interest for the program are now being sought.

Dancers from the Beyond Technique Residency are supported by Philip Channells (Creative Director) and guest artists who assist laying the foundation for the solo work before further rigourous creative investigation continue at The Corner. Pictured above is one of the Beyond Technique Residency #3 solo performers, Tara Coughlin who worked closely with Lee-Anne Litton (Strings Attached) to initiate the first stage development of Family Tree.
